It is with great sadness that we announce that Matthew passed away on the morning of 25 November 2015. He will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the community of Parktown Boys High School.
Thank you to everyone who supported Matthew during this difficult time. He was an exceptional young man who fought a brave fight.
He had an extraordinary capacity for giving his all, even in the face of adversity.
Let us celebrate his life and remember his smile.

at 11am.

SCHOOL
After enjoying his primary years at Risidale Primary School where he was called The Golden Boy, Matthew graduated to Parktown Boys' High School where he was well-loved by both pupils and staff alike.
Matthew was committed to Academic Excellence and was a consistent Top 10 achiever in his Grade.

SPORT
Cricket & Rugby ​were Matthew's first loves. After achieving Best Cricketer at primary school for three years in a row, he went on to similarly great performances on the cricket pitches and rugby fields at Parktown Boys. Understandably, Matthew had to give up playing both cricket and rugby, but continued to nuture a love for both sports.

His enthusaiasm shon through in everything he did - be it his sport, his grades or his love of Portuguese food.
